But the drama that grasps everyone’s attention was Alvida, where he played a negative character, the graph of Rameez had many shades, from being a simple guy-next-door to a scary psychopath, the character exhibits the true accelerating essence of the drama. And the way it was played by Zahid-with so much intensity-nobody could have match-up with that. He nailed the character. The character looked convincing and viewers loved to hate Rameez. The industry and viewers were confined to admit that after ages, there is someone who delivers a guy-next door role with the same conviction as he does an edgy enigmatic role. He excels in acting as he has shown his talent with versatility in different characters, be it a coward 'Zulfi' or a psycho 'Rameez' or an impassively cryptic 'Shavez'. He has it is all what it takes to be a convincing versatile actor. His expression changes calmly and effortlessly as a character grows. His spontaneously seems to be his pride possession.

Zahid Ahmed possesses huge fan following, but still he seems to be a humble and down-to-earth regular guy. He seems simple and quite sorted in his approach towards life.
